- 1 quart Apple pie filling
- 1 can (15 oz) crushed or chunky pineapple
- 3 cups Marion Berries, or your favorite berries
- 1 box yellow or white cake mix
- 1 ½ sticks butter
- Whipped cream
- Dump pie filling, pineapple and berries together into 9x13 baking dish and stir together.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix over top, spread evenly.
- Slice butter and place over top.
- Bake 350 degrees F for 45 to 60 minutes or so…until top is golden.
- Cool, top with a dollop of whipped cream and serve
Variations: use 2 large cans of cherry or berry or peach pie filling and omit the berries
Use Chocolate cake mix and top with a cup of chopped pecans and sprinkle 2 Tbsp sugar over nuts then bake.
